Laundry room

Aada

The magnificent fully restored manor is adorned with beautiful Morris & Co wallpapers and authentic clay plaster. The furniture features Jalokaluste’s Jugend cabinet door design, creating a sense of unity between different rooms.

The cabinets are constructed with overlay doors, where the frame is hidden behind the door, in contrast to having a visible frame.

Heli

The Heli laundry room is a beautifully cohesive space, with cabinets with visible wooden frames and old-fashioned wooden-framed doors. The tall cabinets have inner surfaces and shelves made of oak wood. One of the cabinets features convenient tall pull-out baskets for laundry, while another was turned into a cleaning supply closet.

The washing machine and dryer were placed side by side under a quartz countertop. Next to them, there is a large sink. Above the counter, a beautiful wooden shelf was installed, with a clothes rail underneath for drying laundry. The wall also accommodates a couple of upper cabinets, perfect for example towels.

On the opposite wall, there’s a lovely crafting area with many wooden boxes under the counter to keep things like yarn balls and craft supplies well-organized. In the slanted corner, we custom-built open shelves to make the most of the space.

Sophia

The furniture for this old style laundry room combines a vintage look with modern mechanisms. The washing machine and dryer are concealed behind the doors with a “pocket door” mechanism, allowing the doors to be pushed into the cabinet when not in use. Despite featuring all modern mechanisms and functions, this laundry corner seamlessly blends with the style of the old doors and the overall aesthetic of the home.
